State Housing Company to reclaim encroached lands

The State Housing Company Ltd (SHC) has served notice it will reclaim all encroached lands to serve the interest of the public.

The new management said it has become imperative to carry out the exercise in order to achieve its plans of putting up houses for doctors, nurses and security personnel.

STATE HOUSING COMPANY TO RECLAIM ENCROACHED LANDS

The State Housing Company LTD (SHC) has embarked on a nationwide exercise to develop and regenerate lands and estates belonging to the company.

Persons who have encroached parcels of land belonging to the SHC should call our head office immediately.

SHC will resort to every available legal means including comprehensive demolitions to reclaim company lands.

We take this opportunity, once again, to commend the security agencies, especially the Military and Police Service in helping SHC to reclaim and protect State lands.
