Voting at Community Centre A polling station in the Wassa East Constituency of the Western Region began later than scheduled.
According to Presiding Officer Doreen, logistical challenges during the setup process caused the delay.
As a result, voting commenced at 7:15 am instead of the stipulated time. Despite the delay, the polling station has been accommodating voters with disabilities, allowing them to navigate the process ahead of the queue as per protocol.
In a separate incident, voting at the Near Dallington Tay House polling station in the Sekondi constituency was also delayed due to a brief misunderstanding between officials and voters over the setup.
Voting commenced at 7:55 am, and a total of 283 voters are expected to cast their ballots at this station.
The delay at the Near Dallington Tay House polling station was resolved quickly, allowing the voting process to proceed smoothly.
Officials are working to ensure that all eligible voters can exercise their right to vote, and the voting process is being closely monitored to ensure its integrity and transparency.
As voting continues throughout the day, officials are urging all registered voters to participate in the electoral process.
The outcome of the election will be determined by the collective decisions of the voters, and every vote counts.
