National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has strongly warned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration to resist any attempts to rig the upcoming elections on Saturday, December 7.
This development comes amid concerns about potential electoral malpractices.
Speaking at the party’s rally in Madina, Mahama emphasised the need for transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
He urged the NPP administration and the security services to resist any nefarious actions that may compromise the integrity of the elections.
Mahama also reassured Ghanaians that the NDC will be present at the polling stations to ensure that their votes are protected.
“I want to caution the NPP administration, the security services and the entire body of people who are in charge of supervising this election. I urge you to resist the nefarious actions that some people are planning.”
“To the people of Ghana, the National Democratic Congress will go to the polling station with you. Together, we will police and courageously protect our votes and resist all attempts to steal them.”
