Ave Chiefs congratulate John Mahama, appeal for the completion of stalled projects.

Ave Chiefs in the Akatsi North District of the Volta region have congratulated President John Mahama for winning the just-ended General Election.

In their congratulatory message to the President, the Chiefs disclosed that Mr. Mahama’s resounding mandate reflects the confidence and trust Ghanaians have placed in his vision and leadership to guide the nation toward prosperity and progress

They also made a number of requests to the President which included the completion of projects in the Akatsi North and ministerial appointment for their MP.

“We humbly appeal for the consideration of our Member of Parliament for Akatsi North, Hon. Peter Nortsu Kotoe, who has served diligently as the Ranking Member on Education in the 8th Parliament, for the esteemed position of Minister of Education. His exemplary dedication and expertise in the education sector position him as a valuable asset to your government”, the Chiefs stated.

Your Excellency,

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA

We, the undersigned Paramount Chiefs and President of the Six (6) Traditional Councils in the Akatsi North District, on behalf of the chiefs, queens, and people of the Akatsi North Constituency, and in our personal capacities, extend our heartfelt congratulations to you, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, on your remarkable victory in the just-concluded 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Your resounding mandate reflects the confidence and trust Ghanaians have placed in your vision and leadership to guide our nation toward prosperity and progress. As custodians of our traditions and representatives of the people, we pledge our unwavering support and commitment to partnering with your administration in “Resetting and Rebuilding the Ghana We All Want.”

In light of this new chapter of national development, we respectfully draw your attention to the following:

  1. Completion of Projects in Akatsi North District;
    We kindly urge you to honor your pledge to complete the numerous abandoned projects from your previous administration and uncompleted initiatives of the current administration in the Akatsi North District. These projects hold significant importance for the development and well-being of our communities.
