Mybitstore has donated medical supplies to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Accra.
A market leader in the sale of digital currencies like Bitcoin and USDT via mobile money, bank transfers, and other payment methods is Mybitstore, a crypto trading platform.
Currently, Mybitstore operates an app that is available on both the App Store and the Google Play Store.
Deputy Chief Nursing Officer (DCNO) Evelyn Kumah and Senior Nursing Officer Paulina Hammond accepted the supplies on behalf of the PICU. The supplies included drip stands, suction machines, microwaves, and other medical equipment.
Daniel Darko, the chief technology officer of Mybitstore, who presented the supplies to the PICU, said that the company is not only committed to making cryptocurrencies accessible to the general public but also to ensuring the safety of the next generation of crypto users, who also happen to be children.
He continued, “Crypto needs to be passed on to the next generation, and before we can deliver the message, this generation must be healthy.
David Deuces, a brand advocate for Mybitstore, assured the PICU that Mybitstore stands ready to assist them at all times.
Evelyn Kumah, the DCNO of PICU, thanked Mybitstore and urged other organisations to assist the department in fostering a healthier future.
She said, “Our future is in our children, and if they are not healthy, then we have no future.”
Ernest Pappoe, the head of communications at Mybitstore, stated that everyone, especially those in the medical industry, must get the crypto message.
He was of the view that the only way for people to adopt cryptocurrency and remove myths is through effective crypto education.
He expressed gratitude to the unit for their warm welcome and promised to continue to support them in the future.
