President Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation of the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resource, Cecilia Dapaah.
This comes on the back of the Minister for Sanitation, Cecilia Dapaah resigning over the going publications that she own one million dollars and three hundred thousand euros which have been stolen from her house.
An Accra Circuit Court is hearing case that huge sums of money and other items of the Minister for Sanitation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah and her husband, Daniel Osei Kuffour have been stolen from their Abelemkpe home.
In a Facebook post by the Jubilee House Communications Director, Eugene Arhin disclosed that the President applauded the Minister for her hardworking contributions to his government
“The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has accepted the resignation from office of Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah as Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources and member of Government.
“President Akufo-Addo applauded Hon. Cecilia Dapaah’s loyalty to the image and standing of his Government, and thanked her also for her wholehearted contribution and devotion to the progress of Government and the Nation. He wished her the best in all her endeavours,” Mr. Arhin stated.
He continued that the President Akufo-Addo will soon appoint a new Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
