The special aide to Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Anthony Karbo says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and their flag bearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will have improved votes from the Volta region.
Speaking on the Morning Starr with Francis Abban on the campaign of the Vice President so far, Mr. Karbo stated that there have been several developmental projects in the Volta region that will bring a positive change in votes in the region.
“It is because of the caliber of candidate we have and I think that it will be important we go back the election results of Dr. Hilla Liman. I think that will give us some insight into what will happen in the Volta region.
“Seven years ago the road into the Volta region is a testimony, just look at the road network entering the Volta region and you will know exactly what the NPP has done. That is what will meet you,” Mr. Karbo stated.
According to him, the Volta region has also benefited from the Free Senior High School program among others.
“The Sokode road, the Ho Market renovation, and the works the NPP has done. One of the best roads we have in this country can be found in the Volta region,” he added.
