The 2024 edition of the Ghana Football Awards has been officially launched, with Kudus, Karim Zito, Victor Boniface, and others vying for top honours. The event was launched at a colourful ceremony on Wednesday, 12th June 2024, at the Big Leagues Sports and Games Lounge in Osu, Accra.

This year’s ceremony will be the sixth edition and has become the pinnacle of the Ghanaian football season.

Celebrated broadcaster Karl Tufuoh, who also serves as the Chairman of the Awards Board, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s efforts and assured that the awards night would be among the best they have organized.

“A lot of work has gone into the preparation of this year’s event. At the Board level, it is always fascinating to engage in the debate about which player deserves to be shortlisted. To the best of our abilities as a Board, we have selected sportsmen and women who we believe have excelled in the year under review. May the best candidates win,” he stated at the launch.

The Ghana Football Awards is an annual initiative by Football Impact Africa that celebrates and honours the remarkable achievements and contributions of football players, coaches, administrators, and other key stakeholders in Ghana.

This year’s event is scheduled to take place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center on Saturday, 29th June 2024.
