Ghanaian music sensation, Black Sherif has been awarded the Best Hip Hop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year at the just ended 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Born Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, Black Sherif has become a household name with his unique blend of hip hop, hiplife, and afrobeat sounds.
His raw, authentic lyrics and compelling storytelling resonate deeply with fans, capturing the struggles and triumphs of everyday life. This authenticity has propelled him to the forefront of Ghana’s music industry, earning him critical acclaim and a loyal fan base.
He beat competition from Medikal, Jay Bhad, Amerado, King Paluta and Sarkodie. That was the crooners only award won on the night.
