Actress Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo and their team have successfully organized the #DumsorMustStop demonstration in Accra.
The demonstration started at the University of Ghana and ended at Accra Mall where the leaders addressed the members.
This is after the Greater Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service withdrew its application seeking to prohibit organizers of the demonstration from taking place.
The group contends that the intermittent power cuts, locally known as ‘dumsor,’ are adversely affecting her business and therefore the need for the demonstration to send a signal to the government.
