A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Team, Richard Manuribe, has expressed confidence that unemployment in Ghana will soon be eliminated, citing the government’s proposed 24-hour economy policy as a key driver.
Speaking on The Verdict on Starr 103.5 FM on Tuesday, May 5, Mr. Manuribe stated that the current administration has already stabilised the economy and is putting in place measures that will create widespread employment opportunities.
According to him, once the 24-hour economy is fully implemented, it will transform the job landscape in the country and ensure that young people have access to work.
“The government has stabilised the economy and put measures in place. Very soon, when the 24-hour economy takes off completely, we are going to eradicate unemployment totally in this country. No youth will go out without employment,” he said.
