The 37 Military Hospital has announced a temporary closure of its Medical Emergency Unit from Wednesday, June 4 to Saturday, June 14, 2025, to allow for a routine fumigation exercise.
According to a public service announcement issued by the Department of Public Relations of the Ghana Armed Forces, the hospital is undertaking the scheduled exercise to maintain hygiene and safety standards within the facility.
During the closure, the public is advised to refer medical emergency cases to other healthcare facilities. However, the hospital noted that special arrangements will be made to attend to entitled persons at the Trauma Surgical Emergency Unit throughout the period.
The hospital expressed regret for any inconvenience the temporary closure may cause and called on the public for cooperation.
