President Nana Akufo-Addo and his predecessor John Dramani Mahama will be in The Gambia for the inauguration of President Adama Barrow.
Barrow was sworn into office in The Gambian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal last month after Yahya Jammeh refused to relinquish power.
Barrow’s inauguration today, coincides with the 52nd Independence Anniversary of the West African country.
Former President John Mahama was an ECOWAS Co-Mediator in the efforts towards resolving the election dispute that followed the December 01, 2016 election.
President Akufo-Addo is expected to return later on Saturday.
