Globe Productions in partnership with the National Ambulance Service will stage Playwright Latif Abubakar’s much anticipated ninth stage play ‘JUDAS AND DELILAH’ which is set to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre on May 6 and 7, 2017.

The growing interest of people and the positive impact of Globe Productions’ stage plays on them have necessitated and motivated the theatre and Events Company and its playwright Abubakar to continue churning out hilarious and educative plays.

Abubakar’s plays have over the years brought together patrons numbering over 20,000 from all walks of life to laugh out loud and get educated on basic things we most of the time overlook in our daily lives. In the lead up to the 2016 general elections, the ‘I CAN’T THINK FAR’ play was staged in five cities across Ghana to educate people on anger management as we approached the polls and laugh off their stress.

“The feedback we’ve had from our patrons has given us the motivation to produce our upcoming play, titled ‘Judas and Delilah’. This play seeks to equip patrons with basic and practical first aid skills through a humour packed, music infused and dance electrifying stage play,” a statement from the production said.

The ‘Judas and Delilah’ play is set in a clinic and tells a story of a cheat of a watchman obsessed with a cheating nurse who is also obsessed with a medical doctor who stays aloof of the nurse’s obsession; all of them perfecting their tricks of betrayal. Who wins in this game of traitors; Judas or Delilah?
