Host of EIB’s Abusua FM Morning Show Kwame Adinkra has donated goods worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to Kumasi SOS Children’s Village.

The donation according to Adinkra, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Apotiti consult based in the Ashanti region is part of his commitment towards putting smiles on the faces of the poor children’s in the Village.

The items donated to the inmates of the village include, 10 bags of Rice, two bags of maize, toiletries, 2 cartons of milk, boxes of washing power, a Polytank which takes 10,000 gallons of water and a Cash amount of 2,000 Ghana Cedis.

Addressing the media after the donation, the King Morning Shows in Kumasi called on the Ghanaians to support the running of various orphanages in the country.

“We decided to visit the village and express our love and compassion to the under privilege. This SOS Children Village is faced with a lot of challenges therefore it’s important to support them with the little that we have. As you can see this Village looks very beautiful with nice structures but trust me, they are faced with a lot of challenges on day to day running of the Village, therefore I will like to call on cooperate organizations to come to the aid of the Village,’’ he stressed.

Management of the facility who were amazed by the donation commended Kwame Adinkra for putting smiles on the faces of the Children in the village on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.

“We were aware of Kwame’s coming to the home, but we least expected a lot of goodies from him. We are very grateful to him and all the people who supported him and us in this way. When you come to our village you will think we don’t lack anything, but all the beautiful things you see here are all donated by individuals and cooperate organization.

“Ours is to take good care of the facilities. I will want to use this opportunity to invite cooperate Ghana to come to our aid and support the daily up keep of the Village,’’ he appealed.
