Former Inter Allies defender Patrick Kpodzo is hoping Inter Allies fight hard to stay in the Ghana premier league. The Inter Allies lads are struggling to find their feet in the ongoing Ghana premier league as they currently sit at the bottom of the league table with just 16 points from 22 matches.

The team has gone through a torrid run since the departure of their top striker Victorien Adebayor, defender Frank Assinki as well as other key players from the team.  Relegation is staring boldly at Inter allies as they continue to drop vital points in their matches. But speaking on Sports Express on Starr103.5FM, Patrick Kpozo, who currently plays for Ostersunds FK in Sweden after leaving Inter Allies to join AIK in 2017, says it saddens his heart to see his former club struggling in the league. But he believes they can escape relegation if they continue to fight hard.

“It saddens my heart you know, I watch some of their games and you see them losing their matches continuously. But I will say they need to fight very hard to stay in the league. They need to work hard. He said

Inter Allies will host Elmina Sharks at the theater of Dreams in Dawu in their next league game.
