David Assah Gyamfi, the Head of Technical at EIB Network’s Takoradi cluster, comprising Empire FM and Radio 360, has been recognized as the best staff member for the year 2023 after staff voted for him overwhelmingly.
In a voting process that saw 3 contenders including Hariet Mensah aka Herty and Saddick Abubakr aka DJ Lynka vying for the prestigious award.
As one of the longest-serving members of the media house, Mr. Assah Gyamfi polled 9 votes out of a total 14 votes to emerge as the best worker.
A visibly elated Kwesi Gyamfi expressed gratitude to his colleagues for the recognition and award;
“I am so overwhelmed for this recognition and award and I congratulate my 2 other contenders. Today is my turn and tomorrow will be another person’s turn and I express my gratitude to my colleagues and management for this great honour done me, ” he expressed.
Enoch Asare, the Manager of the EIB Takoradi Cluster, widely known as Feeling Daddy, explained that this intentional recognition is part of the media house’s commitment to appreciating outstanding staff.
“This is from the CEO, COO and entire management to you for standing out in your service to the company and the company values each one’s contribution to its growth.” he emphasised.
He also urged the staff to continue delivering their best to increase the audience share and revenue growth of the company to make it the enviable brand it is known for.
