The High Court in Accra has granted the state’s request to file documents revealing that former National Signals Bureau Director-General, Kwabena Adu-Boahen, failed to declare his assets as a public officer, as required by law.
During a case management conference, Deputy Attorney General Dr. Justice Srem-Sai informed the court of the state’s intention to file additional documents. He stated:
“My Lord, we may seek leave to disclose one more document which is the response to a request to unseal the asset declaration form of A1 who is a public officer. The answer to the request shows that A1 (Kwabena Adu-Boahen) has not declared his assets,” Dr Srem-Sai prayed.
The court, presided over by Justice John Eugene Nyante Nyadu, granted the request.
“Leave is hereby granted the prosecution to file a supplementary witness statement in respect of the documents they intend to disclose to be part of their intended exhibits at the trial,” the Court said.
Kwabena Adu-Boahene, 1st Accused, Angela Adjei Boateng, 2nd Accused, Mildred Donkor, 3rd Accused, and Advantage Solution Limited ( company) have been slapped with 11 charges including stealing.
They have all pleaded not guilty to the charges and are all on bail.
The case has been adjourned to June 26, 2025.
