Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has expressed optimism about Ghana’s chances as the Black Stars prepare to face Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, in N’Djamena, before Ghana returns home to take on Mali in a decisive encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.
Adams, who assumed office earlier this year, has rallied support for the team, urging Ghanaians to stand behind the players as they aim for victory.
“Our Stars are out there to represent the nation; let’s all pray for them. Thankfully, the players are in good shape for the game. I know the team is capable of winning, and I wish them well. Let’s rally behind them as Ghanaians. I’m confident they will deliver regardless of the kick-off time,” he said at a press briefing.
