The Ministry of Education has reported that over 564,000 students have been successfully placed in Senior High Schools and Technical Institutes through the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
According to the Ministry, since opening on September 18, 2025, the CSSPS Resolution Centre has handled 1,358 cases, mainly involving requests for school changes—particularly to Category A schools—and residence adjustments for health or family relocation.
Candidates not automatically placed are encouraged to use the self-placement option, which has successfully placed about 70% so far.
The Ministry emphasized that placement decisions are guided by candidates’ raw scores, available vacancies, and the level of competition, meaning that even top-performing students may not always secure their first-choice schools.
The Ministry reassured parents, guardians, and students that all remaining placement concerns are being carefully addressed to ensure a fair and smooth process. Furthermore, data for re-entry students is currently being processed to finalize their placements.
