Hollard Life Assurance, a subsidiary of Hollard Ghana, has been named Marketing-Oriented Life Insurance Company of the Year at the 37th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG).

The awards ceremony, held over the weekend at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, brought together industry leaders and corporate organisations to celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions to marketing and business performance in Ghana.

The recognition underscores Hollard Life’s commitment to customer-focused marketing, innovative insurance solutions and initiatives that make life insurance more accessible and relevant to the needs of individuals, families and businesses across Ghana.

Commenting on the achievement, Sosthenes Konutsey, Managing Director of Hollard Life, said:

“This recognition is a proud moment for Hollard Life and a testament to our belief that marketing must go beyond promoting products to creating meaningful value for customers. We are intentional about understanding people’s needs, developing relevant solutions and communicating the importance of financial protection in ways that resonate with them.

“At Hollard Life, our ambition is to make life insurance accessible, understandable and valuable to more Ghanaians. We dedicate this award first to our valued customers and partners for their continued trust and support. We also celebrate our dedicated team, whose commitment to excellence inspires us to challenge the status quo, innovate and continually deliver on our promise to our customers.”

Hollard Life continues to advance its purpose of enabling more people to create and secure a better future by treating everyone with care and dignity. Through customer-centred product development, accessible distribution channels and targeted public education, the company is working to simplify life insurance and encourage more Ghanaians to embrace financial protection.

Among its offerings is MeBanbɔ, an inclusive life insurance solution designed to make protection accessible, with premiums starting from as little as GH¢2. Accessible via USSD, MeBanbɔ reflects Hollard Life’s commitment to meeting customers where they are and making insurance easier to understand and access.

The Acting Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Aviel Benni Derry expressed gratitude to the CIMG jury for the honour, stating:

“Winning Marketing-Oriented Insurance Company of the Year affirms the power of purposeful marketing in building trust, shaping perceptions and making insurance more relevant to people’s lives. We remain committed to making life insurance more accessible, relevant and meaningful to more Ghanaians”.

The award further reinforces Hollard Life’s drive to put customers first, pursue excellence and use marketing as a strategic tool for building trust, strengthening relationships and expanding insurance inclusion.
