The Access Bank “Abusua Aky3de3” promo has witnessed its first draw prize presentation held on Friday, 18 August, 2017 at the Rawlings Park in Accra. This follows a successful mini draw held and supervised by the National Lottery Authority the previous week.

Rachael Konyah of the KONYAH Family received the ultimate draw prize of an all-expense paid family holiday on behalf of her group.

She could not hide her joy as she received her prize, adding: “I have been saving with Access Bank for sometime now. I like their services. At first, we didn’t want to join the promo but our Relationship Manager encouraged us to enter the promo and now here we are, about to enjoy this holiday with my family”.

Mrs. Konyah also used the opportunity to dispel speculations some people may have concerning the credibility of the promo.

She reiterated: “I will encourage everyone to join the promo. They (Access Bank) are real. Their promotions are real”.

The “Precious Kessena and Mercy Okoli” group also grabbed an educational scholarship package. Others won shopping vouchers, with hundreds of promo participants also receiving automatic life insurance cover and airtime.

Some Small and Medium Scale Entreprises (SMEs), representing the other target category of this promo were also rewarded. Braveworld Cons and Front View Enterprise received a Keyman Insurance cover package worth over GHS50, 000 with others receiving desktop computers, fireproof safes and more.

Presenting the prizes to the winners, Stephen Abban, Divisional Head of Retail Banking commended the winners on their enviable feat and encouraged them to spread the good news to their friends and loved ones.

“We organised this promo to give people incentives to save. Today, we are excited to be giving away these amazing prizes to our first draw winners, and it is our hope that others will also emulate them by registering for the promo today,” he said.

The Group Head of Personal Banking at Access Bank, Matilda Asante-Asiedu underscored the need for the prize presentation after the draw, adding: “Often when there are promos, some people don’t believe that the winners are real. So it was important that in the open, having worked with NLA to choose the winners, we also make sure that winners are openly rewarded”.

The Executive Director of Operations and IT, Kola Ajimoko in his closing remarks, also used the opportunity to reiterate the importance of saving for the future and also encouraged other attendees to join the promo.

Beyond presenting prizes to winners, Access Bank also organised a lucky dip which gave away branded souvenirs to a cross section of attendees made up of men and women plying their trade at the Rawlings Park and its environs.

New and existing customers can still benefit from five more exciting monthly and mega draws with prizes such as GHS 150,000 cash, a brand new Family SUV Car, and many more still up for grabs. Individual customers will simply have to create a group, deposit and maintain a minimum of GHS 500 cedis to win big. SME customers on the other hand will need to maintain a minimum balance of GHS1,000 to be eligible to win GHS 40,000 cash prize, Keyman Insurance and many more amazing prizes still yet to be won.

The promotion which is an industry-first, was launched in July this year to reward both Groups of family and friends as well as SMEs and is in partnership with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) under the Caritas platform, Auto Plaza, Wapic Insurance and Ghana Life.
