International evangelist, Dr Lawrence Tetteh has expressed shock over the demise of budding and talented songstress Ebony Reigns.
The ‘Maame hwe’ hitmaker died in a fatal car accident Friday dawn on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
Reports indicate that she was returning to Accra after a visit to her family home in Brekum in the Brong Ahafo region.
Dr. Tetteh who had recently become the spiritual father of the ‘Poison’ singer told Morning Starr Friday that he had recently advised the 20-year-old artiste to turn to God.
“I was very sad hearing of her demise this morning. I met her a few days ago because she came to meet me for a conversation.
“I admonished her and asked her to turn to God. I told her to check her dressing among others. She was very happy,” President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach said.
Ebony has recently dominated the music industry with songs such ‘Poison’, ‘Kupe’ and ‘I go date your father’. She had been tipped by many Ghanaians to win the 2017 artiste of the year when the Ghana Music Awards is held in March this year.
Ebony Reigns recently shared a heart-warming picture with Dr Lawrence Tetteh on social media.
The songstress who posted the photo on her Instagram page, captioned the picture, “I enjoyed our meeting today Daddy.”
In the photo, both of them can be seen gazing directly at the camera with a gleeful moon-carved smile to show the two individuals are great pals.
