The Head and Missionary-in-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, has commended the leadership style of the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, describing it as one destined for significant national impact.
Speaking during a courtesy call on the Minister in Accra on Wednesday, Maulvi Bin Salih lauded Mr. Iddrisu’s blend of humility, accessibility, and dedication in public service.
“His engagement with the ordinary Ghanaian reflects a leadership style that resonates deeply with the people and reinforces confidence in his role,” he said, emphasizing that the Minister’s natural rapport with citizens strengthens public trust—a defining trait of effective leadership.

The cleric further described Mr. Iddrisu as part of a new generation of “energetic and patriotic” leaders capable of bridging the gap between experience and youthful innovation in governance.
The delegation, led by Maulvi Bin Salih, visited the Minister to commiserate following a recent road accident he was involved in while traveling to Wa in the Upper West Region for official duties.
The visit coincided with the Minister’s invitation to serve as a special guest at the graduation ceremony of the Nusra Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education in Wa.

Highlighting Mr. Iddrisu’s dedication despite the accident, Maulvi Bin Salih noted, “The Minister of Education has demonstrated a spirit of sacrifice that is truly inspiring. To proceed with his duties after such a traumatic event speaks volumes of his character and dedication to the people of Ghana.”
On the Minister’s commitment to national service, the Ahmadiyya leader observed, “I am convinced that this young man has a lot of good in him for Ghana. As the years go by, the results of this dedication will be evident for all to see.”
Maulvi Bin Salih also highlighted the Minister’s example as a lesson for Ghanaian youth.
He encouraged them to emulate Mr. Iddrisu’s discipline, resilience, and dedication to service, urging them to invest in personal development and build on the foundations laid by current leaders.
Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the Minister’s safety, the cleric described his continued service as a blessing not only for the education sector but for the nation at large.
Responding to the visit, Mr. Iddrisu thanked Allah for protecting him and his convoy, and expressed appreciation to the Ahmadiyya Mission for the visit.
He also extended gratitude to all who showed solidarity during the difficult period, praying for God’s blessings upon them.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding educational infrastructure across the country, ensuring that all communities are reached.
