The Editor-in-Chief of the Al Hajj Newspaper Alhaji Bature says President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a “con man” who is deceiving Ghanaians.
According to him, Akufo-Addo’s presidency is based on propaganda and lies adding that all the president has achieved since he was elected is to make promises he cannot fulfill.
Bature claims that the announcement made by the Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta during the 2018 budget presentation that electricity tariffs will be reduced is a complete lie since the Public Utilities and Regulatory Commission is yet to approve the proposal.
“I really believed in him [Akufo-Addo] but now I know that he is a conman, he is running the nation with his mouth, he is just a conman,” Mr. Bature said Tuesday on Adom FM’s Badwam.
Bature added that “NPP under Akufo-Addo is a 419 government but the media is quiet because they helped the NPP come to power.”
Bature stated that not a single promise made by president prior to the elections has been fulfilled in the last months.
