Haroun Apaw Wiredu, the 2024 Parliament candidate for the NDC in Fanteakwa North in Eastern Region, has been appointed Deputy Managing Director( Operations/ Technical) at Metro Mass Transit Limited.
He deputizes Mr. Kale Cesar Esq, who on March 17, 2025, took over as the new Managing Director of the company.
Haroun Apaw- Wiredu replaces Richard Nana Osei Bamfo (Deputy Managing Director, Operations & Technical), appointed by the previous NPP government.

He holds (MSC) in Engineering Project
Management from Coventry University and Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a focus on Social Studies/Special Education at the University of Education Winneba.
