Black Stars shot stopper Joseph Wollacot has been named Goalkeeper of the Season in the English League Two after making the EFL team of the season.
The Swindon Town goalkeeper has been a consistent and integral part of both the Black Stars of Ghana and the league two side this season, manning the post on 46 occasions in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has made 118 saves making him the third most successful goalkeeper in achieving that in the English fourth tier league. That number also makes him the fifth best in terms of save percentage(75.2%) in the league.
Joojo Wollacott is Black Stars second goalkeeper to be congratulated over the weekend after Richard Ofori sent Orlando Pirates to the semi finals of the CAF confederation cup with the final decisive penalty in their shootout win against Simba.
