Black Stars will open a training camp in Kumasi from Tuesday, March 22, 2022, for the first leg of their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Nigeria.
The invited Players are expected to start arriving this weekend after playing for their respective clubs and are expected to have a full house in Accra by Monday evening.
The team will be flown to kumasi on Tuesday and will commence training immediatelly.
Although the Ghana Football Asocciation has not made the invited players for this assignment public the invited players will all be in Ghana by Tuesday morning.
They will train for three days with Otto Addo and his team including Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, George Boateng and technical advisor Chris Hughton mapping out a strategy that can deliver a really good first leg result to take to Abuja.
Black Stars have certainly been boosted by the announcement of Baba Yara Stadium for the first leg after the Cape Coast Stadium was rejected by CAF owing to the badly damaged pitch.
Ghana will hosts Nigeria on March 25 for the first leg before travelling to Abuja in four days’ time for the second leg.
