Kofi Adams, Minister for Sports and Recreation, has vowed to organize a nationwide victory tour for the Black Stars if they clinch the 2026 FIFA World Cup title.
The Minister revealed that, as part of the national celebration, all players would be flown first-class to every district across Ghana in honor of what would be an historic and unprecedented victory.
Speaking on StarrChat with Bola Ray, the Member of Parliament for the Buem constituency affirmed the government’s continued commitment to supporting the Black Stars in their World Cup quest, adding that a grand victory tour would be a deserving tribute to their potential success.
“If the Black Stars win the World Cup, I will arrange first-class flights for all the players to tour every district in Ghana to celebrate,” Adams said.
Ghana currently tops Group I in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with 15 points, following dominant victories against Chad (5-0) and Madagascar (3-0).
