Chairman of IC Securities Group and patron of the IC Polo Team, David Awuah Darko, has been elected as President of the Accra Polo Club—a prestigious equestrian, polo, and social institution established in 1902.
David is the youngest son of the late Nana Awuah Darko Ampem II, who was himself once President of the same club and the first Black or Ghanaian to occupy that position.
David takes over the reins of the club with a rich background and experience in polo, and he is well-positioned to contribute significantly to taking the club to greater heights.
He is married with four children and is also a member of the prestigious Royal Guards Polo Club in the UK.
