The case involving 13 members of the dreaded vigilante group affiliated to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been adjourned to August 8, 2017.
A Kumasi Circuit Court presided by her Honour Mary Nsenkyire adjourned the case Thursday July 13, 2017 on the plea of a representative of the prosecutor in the case, C/Inspt. Hannah Acheampong.
The 13 suspects are facing trial for allegedly attacking the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator Mr. George Adjei.
They claimed they were not consulted before the President appointed Mr. Adjei to the position.
Meanwhile, eight other members of the group who invaded the courtroom and set the 13 suspects free while proceeding was underway, were granted bail two months ago.
