The Group HR/Administrative Manager of EIB Network, Dorcas Delali Kwao, has been honoured with the 2026 PALI Global Award for Media Leadership at the Global Conference, Graduation and Awards Ceremony of the Pan-African Leadership Institute (PALI) held in Accra.
The award was presented during a ceremony that brought together senior executives, policymakers, entrepreneurs, academics and change-makers from across Africa and the diaspora. The event also marked the graduation of 369 executive students from 28 countries, underscoring the Institute’s expanding global footprint.

PALI, founded in 2020 by Kofi Osei-Kusi, positions itself as a catalyst for Africa’s renewal, blending African wisdom with modern leadership practice. Rooted in the philosophy of Ubuntu, the principle that leadership is service-centred and community-driven, the Institute seeks to awaken and equip holistic, entrepreneurial and conscientious leaders to drive Africa’s renaissance.
Over the years, PALI has built an international network of more than 1,400 graduates from 54 countries across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. Its innovative rotational headquarters system moves annually across member countries, spotlighting diverse leadership ecosystems and strengthening continental and diaspora collaboration.
A key milestone in its regional expansion was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on September 15, 2025, with University of the West Indies Global Campus. The partnership, under the theme “Reimagining Opportunities for Leadership and Learning (ROLL),” aims to co-develop leadership certificate programmes that integrate African and Caribbean traditions, alongside virtual and immersive training, joint conferences, research initiatives and technology-enabled learning tools such as AI simulations and virtual reality.
PALI currently offers more than 20 professional courses delivered virtually, in-person and in blended formats. These include programmes such as the Gateway to Africa Leadership Course, Corporate Leadership Professional Course, Entrepreneurial Leadership Professional Course, Personal MBA Course, Philanthropic Leadership Course, Women’s Leadership Course, Youth Leadership Course, and the Media and Creative Arts Course.
Delivering the commencement address at the ceremony was Richard Barnor, who serves as a Board Member of the World Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation and is a member of the World Taekwondo for All Committee. The event also featured notable dignitaries including Mr. Ade Adebayo, PALI Chancellor; Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, PALI President; Prof. Stephen Hancock, Distinguished Professor of Urban Education in the United States; and Dr. Genevieve Pearl Duncan, PALI Director for Development.
Organisers described the ceremony as a significant moment in the Institute’s calendar, reflecting its commitment to shaping ethical, visionary leadership amid global challenges such as geopolitical shifts, digital transformation and economic empowerment.

The recognition of Dorcas Delali Kwao with the 2026 PALI Global Award for Media Leadership formed part of the awards segment of the event, highlighting contributions within the media and leadership space as Africa continues to pursue inclusive and transformative development.
