The Western Regional Council of State Member, H.E. Dr Maxwell Boakye, popularly known as Palasco, has donated GHC50,000 to Tarkwa Senior High School (TARSCO).
The amount is to cover the full cost of painting the Aggrey and Sarbah House blocks of the boys’ dormitory.
At a brief presentation event on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, Dr Boakye stated that the donation was part of his commitment to supporting quality education in the Western Region.
He underscored the importance of investing in educational infrastructure as a way of improving learning outcomes.
“As a member of the Council of State, I am committed to supporting H.E. President John Dramani Mahama in achieving his vision for the educational sector as outlined in the Reset Agenda,” he said.
Dr Boakye also assured that he would continue to champion initiatives aimed at enhancing access to quality education, describing it as the bedrock for Ghana’s human resource development.
“The future of our beloved country, Ghana, depends on quality human resources. For God and country, I serve,” he added.
