Three people sustained gunshot wounds on Friday afternoon after armed men invaded Okurase in the Upper West Akyem District of the Eastern Region amid a longstanding land dispute.
Eyewitnesses said the group stormed the community in search of individuals linked to the dispute, but their presence triggered resistance from some residents.
The confrontation quickly escalated into violence, with multiple gunshots fired.

The injured victims, who suffered varying degrees of wounds, were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are receiving treatment.
Police later moved in to restore order and have since launched investigations into the incident.
Although relative calm has returned, tensions remain high, with residents calling for swift security intervention to avert further clashes.
