The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor has inaugurated the newly reconstituted Board of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo).
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Jinapor highlighted the country’s increasing electricity demand and the urgent need for a more resilient transmission system.

The Minister expressed confidence that the board will spearhead efforts to modernize the grid, reduce transmission losses, and ensure reliable power delivery to industries, businesses, and households nationwide.

The newly sworn-in members of the GRIDCo Board are:
- Kuukua Maurice Ankrah, Esq. – Chairperson
- Ing. Mark Awuah Baah – Acting Managing Director
- Ing. Daniel Atchule
- Joshua Anaman Sackey
- Muhammed Bashiru Nii Narh Alema
- Solomon Kuyon
- Joseph Kwame Kumah

The reconstituted board is expected to provide strategic oversight and support government’s broader vision of building a robust, sustainable, and future-ready national grid.
