Eric Obuaba, a Research Assistant in Parliament, has declared his intention to contest for a position as a National Executive Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Obuaba said his decision to seek a position at the national level is driven by his desire to contribute to the growth and development of the party and bring his experience and knowledge to bear on its organisational affairs.
According to him, his work in Parliament has provided him with valuable experience in research, policy and legislative processes, which he intends to leverage in serving the NDC.
He is expected to engage party members and other stakeholders as he seeks support for his bid ahead of the party’s internal elections.
Mr Obuaba’s declaration comes as several NDC members express interest in various national executive positions as the party prepares for its internal elections.
His campaign is expected to highlight his professional experience, commitment to the party and vision for contributing to its continued organisational development.
