The Ministry of Gender and Social Protection is ending contracts with regional and zonal officials of the school feeding program.
In a brief statement signed by the minister, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, she expressed the nation’s appreciation to the former government workers for their service to the country.
The letter, which was dated 4th March, 2025, did not explain why the officials were being fired from post.
“Please be informed that the contracts of all Regional and Zonal Coordinators of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) are hereby terminated with immediate effect.
“May I take this opportunity to thank you for your service to the nation and wish you well in all your endeavours.
“Kindly visit the GSFP Secretariat for your individual termination letters and handing over instructions,” the statement concluded.
