The 2025 edition of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top 4 tournament will now take place at the Legon Sports Stadium in Accra.
Originally scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, the preseason competition was shifted after the venue was deemed unsuitable to host the matches.
Organisers briefly considered the Accra Sports Stadium but later opted for Legon as the final venue.
The decision comes as the Accra Sports Stadium prepares to host Ghana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali next month.
Additionally, Asante Kotoko and Bibiani GoldStars will use the Legon facility as their home ground for upcoming CAF inter-club competitions.
This year’s Top 4 features Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars, Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Heart of Lions.
The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, August 20, with Hearts of Oak taking on Heart of Lions in the opening fixture.
The competition will conclude on Sunday, August 24, with the final showdown.
