Ghanaian referee, Daniel Laryea, has been appointed to officiate the CAF Confederation Cup match between Kaizer Chiefs and Al Masry. Laryea will be assisted by fellow Ghanaians Roland Adie and Paul Kodzo, with Charles Bulu serving as fourth official.
The match is part of the fifth round of the group stage, with Kaizer Chiefs currently third in Group D, tied with Al Masry. In their previous encounter, Al Masry won 2-1 against Kaizer Chiefs on November 23, 2025.

Referee Laryea recently officiated the high-profile semifinal game between Morocco and Nigeria at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco and gained praise from the Ghana Football Association for hoisting the flag of Ghana high.
Referee Laryea is also a FIFA trained VAR official.
