Eric Otogo Castane from Gabon has been appointed to handle Ghana’s final Group match against Guinea Bissau in Suez.
Castane last officiated the Black Stars game at the semi-finals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where Ghana defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-0.
Ghana need victory over Guinea Bissau to secure a place in the last 16 after drawing with Benin and Cameroon.
The Black Stars left Ismailia to Suez on Monday and has since been preparing for the match.
