President John Dramani Mahama has issued a notice for the dissolution and reconstitution of statutory boards, corporations, commissions and Councils.
As required by the Presidential (Transition) Act of 2012, all members appointed by the previous administration have ceased to hold office as of January 7, 2025.
This change excludes independent constitutional commissions.
The affected bodies will be reconstituted in accordance with their enabling laws in due course.
In the interim, management have been instructed to seek clearance from the Chief of Staff before making any major decisions.
President Mahama expressed his gratitude to the outgoing members, “The President takes this opportunity to thank all affected members for their service and wishes them well in their future endeavors.”
