Round six of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League continued this weekend at some league centers across the country. With the league gradually taking shape, week six yielded interesting and exciting results.

Week six started at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park I in Dormaa as Aduana Stars whipped West Africa Football Academy 3-0. New signing for the Ogya Boys, Emmanuel Gyamfi assisted Hafiz Adams in the ninth minute to give them the lead. Emmanuel Gyamfi later scored a brace in the 35th and 73rd minute respectively to give Aduana Stars all the three points.

At the Accra sports stadium on Saturday, Accra Lions recorded their second win of the season after narrowly beating Techiman Eleven Wonders by a goal. Both teams looked determined to win the game but a Frederick Asante goal in the 78th minute separated the two sides.

After parting ways with Odartey Lmaptey as their head coach, Elmina Sharks recorded their second victory of the season by beating Karela United 2-1 at the Ndoum Sports Complex in Elmina. A brace from Justice Ato Mensah in the 18th and 54th minutes gave Elmina Sharks a comfortable lead. Substitute for Karela United, Kevin Andoh pulled a goal back in the 81st minute for the Pride and Passions Boys.

A hattrick from Zubairu Ibrahim humbled Asante Kotoko as they lost their first game of the season. Zubairu Ibrahim scored his first goal as early as in the 4th minute. He doubled it in the 17th minute. Cameroonian striker, George Mfegue pulled a goal back but Ibrahim scored his third on the day later. The Cameroonian scored his second of the day as the game ended 3-2.
