GROUNDBREAKING CHRISTIAN GATHERING ANNOUNCES INTERNATIONAL SCHEDULE TO CIRCUMNAVIGATE THE GLOBE IN 25 HOURS

Gather25 has today announced a full schedule of how the event will connect Christians worldwide in every time zone. For 25 hours Christians from every denomination will gather in homes, churches, and stadiums across the world and will join together for worship, prayer, repentance and commissioning. Each continent will host one of the seven core sessions of the 25-hour program.

Starting in the United States at 01:00 UTC on Saturday 1st March 2025 the event will be moving around the world to end in Peru at 02:00 UTC, Sunday 2nd March 2025. The continuous broadcast aims to engage Christians everywhere with stories and testimonies of God’s hand at work around the world, championing them to reach the 5.5 billion people on earth who don’t yet know Jesus. Each session will be hosted in one country, with stories, teaching and worship from multiple locations in each session. Never before told stories of the underground church will also be shared. The speaker and worship artist lineup is due to be announced later this year.

For the past few months, Gather25 has been rallying church leaders from all six continents to make the aspirational event a reality. Local summits hosted in Peru, New Zealand, Singapore, Rwanda, Romania and North America have been key in engaging local representatives to share the stories of what God is doing around the world and cast vision for the content of Gather25.

Leaders from Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda, Liberia among others gathered in Kigali, Rwanda in June. Andrew Mwenda, Executive Director of Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia, says:

“That is what I believe – that Gather25 is going to bring us to a place where we break boundaries and begin to talk Kingdom, the Kingdom of God. And we begin to talk about Jesus much more than doctrine and denominations and churches.”

Anyone and everyone can be a part of Gather25 and are being encouraged to experience as much of the 25 hours as they want in local gatherings, known as Gather Groups. Organized by local individuals or churches, Gather Groups provide an opportunity for communities to experience Gather25 together in person, whether in church buildings, living rooms, stadiums or community spaces.

Founder and Visionary of Gather25, Jennie Allen, says, “It won’t be a gathering of the global Church without you. We are inviting you to bravely step out and invite your church, neighbors, and community to experience Gather25 together in your place. For 25 hours we will pray, worship, and dream about how God wants to use each of us to reach the world. We’ll provide everything you need, we just need your “Yes!””

The Gather25 website allows you to see where and when the event will be broadcasting live by aligning it with your current time zone via your IP address. Alongside new resources to equip anyone to lead a Gather Group, this innovative technology allows everyone to begin planning how they will join this monumental moment in the story of the global Church.
