The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has announced that the Lands Commission will establish offices in all districts across Ghana by the end of 2025.
This initiative, he said, forms part of the government’s Reset Agenda to bring land administration services closer to citizens and improve accessibility nationwide.
Speaking at the Government Accountability Series at the Presidency on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the minister revealed that 90 underserved areas have already been identified for the new district offices.
“It is expected that by the end of this year, every district will have a Lands Commission office,” he stated. “This initiative aims at reducing congestion at regional offices and strengthening land governance at the local level.”
