Lucozade has joined the second edition of Chef Abbys’ Big Street Feast as the official energy drink partner, providing more than 20,000 bottles for the large-scale food and community initiative.
The partnership comes ahead of the 2026 edition of the Big Street Feast, scheduled for October 16 to coincide with World Food Day. This year’s initiative is set to expand beyond Accra to Kumasi, with organisers targeting more than 50,000 people across the two cities.
The Big Street Feast, founded by Ghanaian culinary creator and cultural ambassador Chef Abbys, uses food as a vehicle for community, dignity and social impact. The 2026 edition is being organised around the theme and message that “wherever you are, free food will find you”, with free meals expected to be distributed to people across Accra and Kumasi.

As the official energy drink partner, Lucozade will provide more than 20,000 bottles to support the refreshment needs of participants and beneficiaries during the initiative.
The partnership adds the beverage brand to a growing network of organisations supporting the Big Street Feast and its focus on using food to bring communities together.

The first edition of the initiative, held in Accra in 2025, fed more than 20,000 people through food distribution points and mobile outreach across communities in the capital. Lucozade was among the partners that supported that effort.

The expansion of the Big Street Feast to Accra and Kumasi this year reflects the growing scale of the initiative, which Chef Abbys has described as a collective effort requiring support from brands, food businesses, organisations and individuals.
