Mahama’s campaign messages resonate with hope to Ghanaians – Joseph Apenteng

Joseph Apenteng, a communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emphasized with confidence that former President John Dramani Mahama’s messages are striking a chord with Ghanaians across the nation.

“Mahama has brought on board campaign messages that resonate well with the people and bring hope to Ghanaians”. Apenteng stated passionately while speaking on the Cup of Tea with host Julius Caesar Anadem on Ultimate 106.9 FM.

He explained that the NDC’s campaign is built on genuine issues affecting the everyday lives of Ghanaians, addressing concerns like unemployment, inflation, and high cost of living.

Outlining notable policies that John Dramani Mahama will implement should he win December’s presidential elections, he reechoed the essence of the 24-hour Economy purposely to reduce the rate of unemployment among the youth.

“National Apprenticeship Program which every Ghanaian youth who wants to enter into vocational or artisanal work will be trained for free with regular stipends. When you are done, logistics, tools, and seed capital will be supplied for a setup,” he added.

He asserted that “one thing John Dramani Mahama has promised is that, he will appoint a team of competent people who will help manage the Ghanaian Economy to reduce inflation to a rate that Ghanaians will find comfortable”.

According to Apenteng, Mahama’s approach focuses on providing practical solutions rather than making empty promises. “When you are in opposition, the only thing you sell is hope,” he remarked.

He added that under Mahama’s leadership, the NDC aims to rebuild the trust that many Ghanaians feel they have lost.

Highlighting Mahama’s track record, he asserted that the former president has proven experience and the capability to deliver on his promises.

“The way Mahama connects with the people gives them hope for a better future,” Apenteng continued. “His recent engagements have been met with excitement and strong support. People want real change, and they believe the NDC can bring it.”

He further noted that the NDC’s campaign is rooted in listening to the needs of citizens and formulating policies that directly address those needs.

“As the 2024 elections approach, Mahama’s campaign messages that give hope to the people will serve as the reasons why Ghanaians on 7th December 2024 are going to vote for him,” he contended.
