Halifax Entertainment has announced that the 2017 edition of the ‘Nii Funny Gamashi Homowo Bash’ would be held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Bukom Square in the heart of Accra from dusk till dawn.
The music concert, headlined by budding artiste, Nii Funny, is to climax entertainment activities for the celebration of this year’s Homowo festival by the Gamashi people.
Among the list of musicians confirmed to perform at the August 12 event are SP Kofi Sarpong, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Adane Best, Tinny, Wisa Greid, Luther, Jupiter, Fancy Gadam, Trigmatic, Apaatse, Screw Face, King Jerry, Rashid Metal, D-Flex and several others.
It would also serve as a platform for several up and coming artistes to prove their worth on stage in the presence of thousands of music lovers.
“We believe music is an integral part of celebration and it is therefore prudent that Nii Funny, being an indigene of the area, would bring together his colleague musicians to thrill and entertain the Homowo celebrants.
“It is a free event organized by Halifax Entertainment and supported by Kaya Tours, Bard Man Family, The Publisher, Archimrest Events and Hype TV,” a statement from the organisers said.
