Supporters of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are serving breakfast to accredited delegates in Ayawaso East Constituency on Saturday, January 31, 2026, as voting continues in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary. The gesture is intended to energize delegates as they cast their ballots.
The camp of former Assin Central MP and aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong has also treated supporters to breakfast.

Voting in Ayawaso East, as across other constituencies nationwide, is reportedly proceeding smoothly, with party officials overseeing the process to ensure fairness and transparency.
The presidential primary features five aspirants: Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyapong. Results are expected later today after the close of polling and collation of ballots.
