The Central Committee (CC) members of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) have expressed their displeasure at the release of a newly drafted Constitution of the union.
This took place at a meeting held at the KNUTSFORD university on the 28th of September ,2019.
According to members of the Central Committee, the new NUGS constitution is a smuggled framework and therefore they cannot allow it to be accepted by the co presidents who chaired the meeting.
Speaking to the media, the committee described the act of the executives as null and void in regards to the NUGs law.
The various leaders of the institution have therefore refused to acknowledge the new constitution and disagreed to its taking effect. Also, the Co executives have been granted 48hours to withdraw the imposed constitution.
