OmniBSIC Bank has earned a place in the 2025 edition of the International Banker magazine, following a year marked by strong financial performance, bold brand repositioning and significant digital transformation.
According to details captured in the feature, the Ghanaian bank recorded profit-before-tax growth, underscoring a solid recovery and sustained performance across key income lines. Its net interest income also saw notable improvement, reflecting renewed confidence and operational efficiency.
The publication highlighted OmniBSIC’s refreshed brand identity, introduced under the theme “Not Just Another Bank.” The bank repositioned itself as modern, innovative and customer-focused, signalling a shift toward a more dynamic model in Ghana’s competitive financial sector.

A major part of the recognition centred on the bank’s digital transformation agenda, known internally as Project 5.0. The initiative delivered enhanced mobile-banking capabilities, including biometric logins, improved transparency and strengthened security features. Digital tools were also upgraded for SMEs, corporate clients and retail customers, alongside inclusive banking measures such as the introduction of braille account packs.
The magazine further noted OmniBSIC’s renewed commitment to customer-centric service. The bank has moved from traditional transactional banking to delivering highly personalised solutions, supported by an improved customer experience across branches and digital channels.
Its contribution to national development also formed part of the feature. The bank has expanded its footprint and rolled out programmes aimed at supporting underbanked and unbanked communities, reinforcing its role in advancing financial inclusion.
The International Banker highlighted that OmniBSIC Bank’s combination of strong financial growth, strategic rebranding, enhanced customer experience and a firm push in digital innovation positioned it as one of the sector’s most progressive institutions in 2025.
